Westward - 2016 Single Barrel - Patrick Ahluwalia
The Westward Single Barrel was exclusively bottled for the Kirsch Import company and the German market. For this bottling, Patrick Ahluwalia, the sales manager of Kirsch Import, chose a fresh, charred American oak single cask. It was then bottled with 62,5% cask strength. The Westward distillery is located in the main barley cultivation area in Portland, Oregon. So it is natural to use the local barley malt for the production of Whisky. Westward, one of the few American Single Malts is produced under strict criteria, which are similar to Scotch.
