Only very old and especially whiskys were chosen for the Old Particular Edition.
Nose: Clear and fresh with barley, sugar and lemon zest.
Taste: Sweet, spicy and creamy with notes of herbs.
Finish: Medium, sweet and fruity.

All productions of Cardhu were made with a longer distillation.
Nose: Sweet and fruity with malt and a breeze of smoke.
Taste: Spicy with vanilla, fruits and malt.
Finish: Medium and a little bit dry.
