Starward - 2017 Single Barrel
For the Starward Single Barrel a French Red Wine cask from the Barossa Valley was used. The new make of the distillery is filled into casks with a low alcohol strength, to keep the fruit notes and Wine tannins in the Whisky. The inconsistent climate of Melbourne is partly a reason for the short maturation time and creates an intense Single Malt.
