Ledaig 12 Years - 2008 Firkin Rare
This Ledaig was bottled by The Firkin Whisky Co. The founder of the company, Mike Collings, is already working in the Whisky industry for 40 years and decide to go independent before his retirement. The bottlings of Firkin series comes from custom made casks. Staves from Bourbon casks and Limousin oak casks are combined together and the finished casks are then saturated with the respective 'soulmate' of the Whiskies. A cask that contained Marsala before, was used for this Ledaig.
