An endearing blend and classic while it lasted. Unapologetically phenolic, grassy and grain-driven, with Sherry-notes in the background. Not really peaty, but the phenolic Highland-character makes up for it.
Quite a singular/unique blend, excellent in tropical climates on the rocks. Unfortunately also fallen victim to the "rebranding" process, I refuse to buy the "Haig Club" unless offered a taste for free.
