Nosing:
This nose took me completely by surprise. Right off the bat it smells like it was matured in a bag of toffees. Lots of vanilla and honey, and a subtle slightly acrid smokiness.
Taste:
Creamy. Smoky oak, and sweet caramel, mixed fruitiness and spices.
Finish:
Medium long with spicy oak and a slight bitterness.
Comment:
Well this one was certainly interesting. The nose is properly pungent and really took me by surprise. The slightly bitter part of the finish is a bit off putting to me, but doesn't make it unenjoyable by any stretch. Doesn't need any water in my opinion, they balanced it well at 46%. Its not the most complex, but it is worth trying at the price.

Colour: Natural! Hey-tea color very nice
Nose: grapes, pear, apples, plums, butter, cooked rise... Very unique. So unique, that it’s really hard to forget. Unfortunately alcohol hits quite strong. Espresso, chocolate, wood, sand. At the end, red wine 22/25
Palate: prunes, ripe bananas, bitter chocolate, grapefruit. Sweet-bitter-a little bit sour taste. Dry Sherry notes appear. The taste is very intense. Fresh walnuts. Unlike the nose, the alcohol doesn’t bother at the palate 21/25
Finish: maple syrup, bitter caramel, ripe pears, white (green) grapes, nuts, peat (not smoke, but earthy notes), quite long lasting 20/25
Balance: very pleasant on the nose, very tasty, great Sherry influence (although it had been matured only 6 months in ex-Sherry casks) 22/25
What really matters, is the fact, that it’s un chill-filtered and has natural colour
Overall 85/100
Farbe: natürliche Farbe! Heu-Tee, sehr schön
Nase: Weintrauben, Birnen, Äpfel, Zwetschgen, Butter, ein gekochter Reis... sehr unikat. Schwer ihn zu vergessen. Die alkoholische Note ist leider ziemlich stark. Espresso, Schokolade, Holz, Sand. Zum Schluss-Rotwein 22/25
Körper: getrocknete Pflaumen, Reife Bananen, bittere Schokolade, Grapefruit. Süß-bitter-ein wenig saueren Geschmack. Trockener Sherry.
Generell 85/100
