Comment: This whisky certainly lives up to GlenDronach's sherry-influenced reputation. Without water, raisin is absolutely dominant. Frankly, it is lacking in complexity. But what this whisky does present in its simplicity is very enjoyable.
At ~54% ABV it is not surprising that burn prevents the finish from being taken in large doses. But the addition of water flattens the finish, even if it is then long enough to be savored.
