Nosing:
Big sherry nose, mixed citrus fruits and a syrupy sweetness.
Taste:
Sweet arrival with full body, sherry and raisin. Orange and coffee notes
Finish:
Long, pleasantly drying. Flavours edge more towards coffee and dark chocolate.
Comment:
This is a really great release. It isn't so over the top with the sherry as other cask strengths at a similar price (Abunadh, GF105, etc). There is a lot more of a dark and intense character to it. Consequently, it can take a big spoonfull of water. Excellent value at around £55. Definitely one to try.
