Nosing:
Elegant with slight oak notes. Creme brulee and caramelized fruits.
Taste:
Sweet and strong with blackcurrant and vanilla.

Nosing: anise as well as black licorice.

Comment: One of my favorites. They HAVE to be using some type of wine casks here. They are using a weird mash of casks but I love it. They took a risk and it pays off big here. Very big blackberry and black currant, anise, and licorice notes. If you like unique, bold whisky's, this is one to drink for sure.
