Auchentoshan 18 Years - 1992 Bourbon/Château Climens
This 1992 Auchentoshan was matured for 18 years in Bourbon barrels and got its finish from Château Climens casks from the region of Barsac. They were bottled in the Mission range (gold tin) in 2011.
From the taste the Château Climens are very similar to the Sauterne wine casks. The whisky comes out astonishingly fruity with fruit, wine and floral notes.
