Ardmore 12 Years - 1999 (Chateau Palmer)
This Ardmore got its finish in a red wine cask from the famous Chateau Palmer from the Region Margeaux (Bordeaux). The cask matured the whisky in a very strong character with a nice colour.
Nose: dried fruits, malt and fresh berries followed by a little peat smoke.
Taste: peat smoke, fine spices and a hint of tobacco
Finish: mediocre with peat smoke and cinnamon
